In Plain English

A long-acting form of IGF-1 — the actual growth factor that does the muscle-building work downstream of GH. Stays in your system ~20x longer than the body's natural IGF-1 because a modification stops it from being bound and inactivated.

Overview

IGF-1 LR3 is a recombinant analogue of IGF-1 with amino acid substitutions and an N-terminal extension that prevent binding to IGF-1 binding proteins. This results in approximately 100x greater potency and a half-life of ~20 hours vs ~15 minutes for native IGF-1.

Common Formats

  • Lyophilized powder (injectable)

Storage Notes

-80°C optimal. -20°C acceptable short term. Reconstituted: 4°C, use within 2-3 weeks. Highly sensitive to degradation.
